    Just lovely. Never ceases to amaze me just how high trees can grow! You don't need to spend long there, just a quick half hour to take it all in.

    Great place for a day out with the family in late spring through to early winter. Picnic under the Oak tree next to the red wood forrest. Go up the road a bit further for the Big Peninsula Tunnel for a summer dip in the icy waters of the Yarra River.

    In the middle of winter the forest is still majestic, displaying beautiful shades of green....and if you lucky, snowflakes are gently falling around you making it a more enchanting experience

    I have the privilege of living in this beautiful part of Victoria, and I never tire of the magnificence of the hills and the valley. Some much to see. Come and find out for yourself!
